also what are my options for sharks. I only want tank breds. Could I have a port jackson in there?

I think you should look at more sites...not just drsfosters. Looking at sites like superskimmer, actually focus on specific things. Thier they have skimmer's rated to tanks all the way up to like 20,000!!! I want that skimmer on my 70 gallon tank lol

Where do you plan on putting this?

whats going to kill you monthly is the salt needed for waterchanges. you also have to figure in heaters, chiller if needed, pumps, mixing tank with more pumps and heaters, etc...

this is a pure guess but i would say atleast $300 a month...

There are sharks and there are sharks...900 gals is tiny for most sharks that constantly swim in open water.

I think proper shark care is like buying a Rolls Royce, if you have to ask how much they are then you really cannot afford one.

I always worry when the post is based on cost and not care, the stock tank is the cheap cheat to a large tank, you need to view sharks from side on and not above.

just asking, I always plan my budget before buying anything. and I like viewing fish from the top. the glass sides of a tank re more for the viewing pleasure of the hobbyist and not the benefit of the animal.
