are hi-fin banded shark any fun? and also why are they so expensive? around here they range from 40-70 $$ for a 4 incher ( im a cheap ass the most expensive fish i have is sailfin flyer pleco 50$ atleast thats what the pet store called it lol )

I saw them hand feeding one at the store because it won't eat well in captivity.... sounds like a ton of work. i don't want anything that can't survive on its own in captivity
i have some 5" ones in stock, $12.00 each, they're very peaceful, and easy to keep, they are scavengers, so give them plenty of food like plecotomus, and they'll do great. don't expect them just to eat ****.
where are you, i want 2 lol right now i have the most ****ed up tank set up ever known lol i have a 6.5 -7 inch bala a same sized tinfoil barb 6in brown knife 2 rainbow sharks about 6 in ( one is fkin obese ) 2 large gourami's 2 fully grown kribinsis a 7inch pleco and a elec blue lobster-crayfish and i "had" a black ghost knife but the krib's ripped him up 
in a 45gal with xp1 canister ( i also need a new light hoood i only have 2 18' 15watt bulbs)
i also have a 10gal with 2 sunset chuna(dwarf gourami) 1 spotted pleco ( sunset pleco soon) 5black tetras and 2glass cats and 2 khuli loaches
i was wondering if in the ten i should get a hi fin or if i should go with just a cory cat
any advice on how to "fix" the 45 would be VERY helpful

thats weird cause all the places round here have them in warmer water they all say they should be in 85 or so instead of around 80 :\ uh oh lotsa dead fish soon
Your Hi Fin will not survive in a tropical tank. They need cold water -70 and are much better suited for a pound.
On the 45 gal you are almost to the point you will need a bigger tank.
