I really wish people who think that kind of thing is funny would die. We don't need them infecting the population with stupidity.

idk what specifically he is referring to but for one, the black tip reef shark died in June of this year and the tank was too small for it even at 1000 gallons, black tip reef sharks need 2500g as pups and more towards the 8500 or greater as adults. I didn't listen to audio but the youtube posts were referring to comments about fetus's. so that very well could be an issue, or the constant swearing in the responses regarding tank size.

or perhaps the whole idea of people trying to keep fish that large in their houses. Some may be able to do it, but most of the time they end up dying at the hands of an inexperienced fish keeper.

so theres alot of things about the person with the video that zoodiver could be refering to. i strongly suggest checking his youtube page for all the other vids and that will likely fill you in on what all is wrong.

oh, did it? damn. :( i'd hoped it was relocated or something. the tank is/was amazing though, apart from the choice of shark.
i think the most offensive thing about the video is the description. although that it was so outrageous, i dont think anyone could ever take it seriously. if they did, then we have bigger issues to worry about :screwy:

yeah i went deeper and took a look at all his youtube vids and that's where it started to go hairy. from the setup vid it would look like an awesome deal. the tanks was great looking, he simply should have stayed with banded cat sharks and then the other fish. but the more and more I read on his youtube page, the less and less I wanted to know about him.

"It appears that he had died from a bacterial infection he had gotten from an injury he recieved during feeding. We had been feeding him stray cats from our neighborhood. We had hoped of trying to feed him a fetus from a late term abortion but that didn't work out as George Tiller's clinic (our fetus source) was closed after his murder."

^ Okay, just reading what he was attempting to feed his shark disgusts me!!! i mean what the hell is that guy thinking, i mean there are PLENTY of other sources of food he could have tried feeding his shark...

-EDIT-

Just read his FULL description on the side of his video which i'll re-post below word for word and all i can say is i feel dumber just for reading it, lets just hope no one takes ANY of his advice!!!:

(*UPDATE*) This tank has been taken down.

The shark died on 6/8/2009.

It appears that he had died from a bacterial infection he had gotten from an injury he recieved during feeding. We had been feeding him stray cats from our neighborhood. We had hoped of trying to feed him a fetus from a late term abortion but that didn't work out as George Tiller's clinic (our fetus source) was closed after his murder.

This is a Blacktip reef shark!

They can be kept in hot or cold tanks.

Minimum tank requirements is 120 gallons.

Can be kept in fresh or saltwater.

They are easier to keep than goldfish and thats why they are so darn expensive! They cost roughly $1000 but are worth every penny. I recommend them as a good starter fish!

They can eat a variety of foods from, mice, to strained canned tuna or flake food. Even copper wire.

If your shark becomes to expensive to feed, or out grows your aquarium you can cut off its fins with a rusty box cutter to make "fin soup" and toss its fragile bleeding carcass in the frigid baltic sea where this shark originates from. There it will re-grow its fins and re-join its pack of other schooling sharks

im hoping thats some serious sarcasm on his part. Even if it is, theres some people out there, that are flat out stupid enough to take it as truth
