I just realized that I have not seen very many Iridescent sharks in the past year, at LFS.... YAHOO!!!! Maybe this is a sign of better things for monster fish! Now that I mention this, I have not seen THAT MANY Pacus either...

I haven't seen any pacu's in a long time but I still see ID sharks at the local stores and wal-mart. Just started seeing albino's in the last couple months, hadn't seen them in the stores before.

I haven't seen any pacu, ID sharks, or longnose gar in a long time. And I have noticed that they have really cut down on the number of RTC, TSN, and silver aros. I never see more than one at a time.

In the past week, I have seen both Pacu and ID sharks at the only two LFS near me :irked:, at one store both were considerably larger than at the other, and both we using bad info on the information tags (as far as maximum growth).

i see both of those fish all the time around here still

i see pacu, IDs, RTCs, TSNs, and aros everytime i go to the LFS. also every petco, petsmart, and walmart I have been to in the last 6 months has had pacu and IDs

I see Ir. sharks and Pacu way way too much.
I've also seen employees at several fish stores recommending Ir. sharks for small tanks, sometimes even 10g, and saying they only get 6-12 inches. I've seen similar happen with Pacu, though not to the same extent even though the sizes are always way off.
I'm glad some places aren't selling them much or at all, but that doesn't seem to be the case around here.

we still sell all of them ar work but i have been talkinging them into ordering less. not exactly good tank fish. maybe if you live in a pool.

I agree, I frequent the LPS to get food for my vareous raptiles and fish... And they usualy had ID's in 2-3 sizes plus albinos, TSN shovelnose limas redtails and small pacu (usually in 2 sives and often a single very large specimen)
