She won't spit !!

I have a OB Peacock holding, it's been 3 weeks and she hasn't spit them out yet, her mouth is a big as a marble...i put her in a 10gal tank by herself.....should i leave her alone or try and strip her?

You could do either. They usually brood for up to 4 weeks. If you have her segregated, she will spit when she's ready.

sometimes they spit and then all the babies go back into her mouth for safety.. my venustus does this... but i would just leave them... a 10 gal tank will not be big enough for very long... so in the meantime i would set up another tank and get ready to let them grow ..wait until you see how many.. haha..

is it her first time if so they can somtimes hold for too long and cause problems for herself .in this case you may have to strip her ,leave her a little longer and hopefully shell do it herself which i find is always better
