sorry not very helpful what i can tell you is there pretty rare and are rarely imported

the ones i saw were chasing everything around at 2 inches.

I had two around 4"-5" in size, Had no problems with them at all, very placid. Ate anything vegetable based including courgette/zuchini, algae wafers etc. Not especially fast growers. They max out at about 5" so mine were pretty much full grown. A super cool looking fish IMO.

Beautiful, sounds like they should replace the common redbellied pacu's that are in stores everywhere since these only get 5".

Sounds like its gonna be a badass tank. THe pacus your talking about they max out 5-6 inches very peacful they are schooling fishes so get about 2.
