How long before frozen food (krill, silver sides, blood worms etc.) go bad?

It can still go bad. I had some brine shrimp that was a couple years old and it changed color and my fish wont touch it. I wouldn't keep it longer than a year or two, although with my fish I have now, I can't see the frozen food I have lasting that long (except the krill, they prefer freeze-dried)

None of my frozen foods will last anywhere near a year so I guess I am in the clear.

I only ask because I know that Market shrimp can last about 3 months in a freezer before people should not eat it. So I did not know if this 3 months rule applied to other frozen sea food.

I am not even sure the 3 month cut off needs to be followed for fish. Anyone use market shrimp that is over 3 months old, in their tanks?

I think if it stays frozen the shelf life is several months. Mine never last that long, but I would feel comfortable feeding them 6-7 month old frozen food.
