Shell Dweller tank

I have an 8 gallon tank empty. I am planning on putting 3 shell dwellers in. Im gonna get thing to raise the pH to 8.5 and get black sand. I also will have shells. I will be getting 3 of them.
water temp with be around 80F
anything else i should include?

More decore other than shells. Maybe a nice piece of wood. We will need picts when your done. That black sand sounds like it will look pretty cool with the shells.

shells would be best. Lots of shells, some rock to break line of sight is great too. Take a look at the show your full tank shots sticky and I have my 75 gallon shellie tank in there.

what do i feed my shell dwellers?
so far i have vegie flakes, blood worms, brine shrimp, regular omega flakes
anything else?

NLS is what I feed mine.

mine used to look robust and healthy and breed while being fed almost exclusively NLS
