Hello,
I'm planning to add a pair of shell dwellers to my 55 gallon tropheus tank. The trophs are pretty boisterous (obviously) but they only bother themselves. They don't even look at the julidochromis or small frontosa living with them. (The front is fine by the way, and will be removed once he's big enough to eat anybody. Read my other threads if you're interested in why he's in there.)
Anyway I want to get a pair of Shellies. I have 7 escargot shells in a corner of the tank where the other fish don't really hang out. I'm wondering how I can introduce the fish to the shells? i want to do so quickly so that they have a place to rest and recover from the stress of moving once they're introduced to the tank.
