Hi i am looking to set up a little coloney in my sump tank its 42" x 36" and was wondering which of the following could make a colloney.

Brevis
Ocellatus
Ornatipinnis
Smilis
Speciosus
Stappersii
Boulengeri
Meeli

Also i you could can you rate the aggression.

similis can... but i heard multifasciatus is better for making a colony they are actually step breeders. the young from one group will help raise the next..

yeah when it comes to colonies multis are hard to beat

With the proper setup, it is possible to raise a colony of all the fish listed. Some are easier than others. Ocellatus and Boulengeri are aggressive. Ornatapinnis are harem spawners. Males are intolerant of each other. Only keep one male per tank. The others are all mildly aggressive. Lots of shells in different areas of the tank help.

brevis? i think they are harem breeders. none of the ones you listed are true colony breeders i believe
