i have a 10 gallon planted tank.. with a mystery snail i put in recently.. i was being an idiot and forgot they will eat my plants =[
so i also have a shellie tank.. 8 gallons.. with 3 shell dwellers
if i put the snail in there will it be ok? will it get attacked? is it a good idea?

I don't think think the snail would last long. Shellies won't really eat snails, but they'll kill what they can that's smaller and "intruding" in their space.

ok.. thank you for the help

Which snail do you have? Did it eat your plants? Only Pomacea bridgesii doesn't eat plants. If it is, chances are you have Pomacea canaliculata. Many species other than brigs are banned or illegal in several states. Don't mix snails IMO with shellies.

im 99% sure i have Pomacea bridgesii
all i know is its a mystery snail

What plants did it eat? The term "mystery" could apply to hundreds of species.

i purchased it yesterday
