Are they still open? The website is still up and I assume they are, but I stopped by at 6 today and they were closed, but they're supposed to be open 'til 630. I was going to look at their oscars and the S. angelicus "hybrid"
 
I've heard rumors that they're closing again. One of my friends said they called there the other day and the number was disco'd. Also heard rumors about Aquamart.
 
Don't know if you're on Sherman's mailing list Paul, but I just got an email today saying that they are still in business, they are just changing hours and will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Says they have new stock in too.

So apparently they are going to close the store. They are closing the 25th from what my email said. Too bad I don't have any money til the 23rd. They have umbies in stock.
 
Ya I was there today, his landlord is having problems with the humidity/moisture the shop creates so he is closing down.
 
Did you happen to see the umbies? Kind of curious as to how big they are. I'm sure he'll find some place else to open. The guy has been around forever!!
 
the umbies are like 3 inches, probably. If it was a 50% off sale, i'd probably pick up a couple things I don't really need
 
Did not see the umbies, kinda crowded when I was there so I must've missed them. Pick up a nice little breeding pair of flag cichlids for my planted tank.

Mark told me he has a buyer for all the store fixtures, but he wouldn't rule out opening again after some time away.
 
did you by chance get a good look at the silver dollars? I've been thinking about getting some, but I don't want the spotted ones.
