The only thing special in the tank is a 50/50 reef bulb, also i have great turn over its only a 29gallon tank with roughly 350gph flow rate. im not even really meticulous with water changes either. but in reality that picture does her no justice shes a lot brighter than that.
 
If you want your fish to show red the best thing you can do is give them sun light! The second best thing is caritine in their diet. Do both and you should have good color on any fish.

And yes, that is a beautiful BB. I just wish it did`nt take them so long to develop their colors.
 
Amazing colors for that size. Usually dont get those colors until adults. She would make a perfect girl for my big brute.

Im not to sure how to sex viejas so at the time of the picture i thought it was a she, but now im leaning more towards male. Abduction if she is a she and your not too far away you can have her
