how big is he? that is one sweet frog man, its a pyxie right? or just a common african bullfrog(or are they the same) so i take it he is aggressive? nice frog, makes me miss mine
Three different species of african bullfrog. The one above is the most correctly described as the african bullfrog, and I won't put the scientific name here because I can't spell it. There is one more similar species, can't find it on google and hardly or never in the pet trade. The last one is the dwarf species of african bullfrog.

Yup...African Bullfrog aka Pyxie Frog (Pyxicephalus Adserus). Not the Giant and not the Dwarf. He's 8" but he's kind of balled up in this pic. That's actually an 8" water dish and he takes up the whole thing usually. I need to get him a bigger dish, lol. He's been pretty mellow, but he has lunged at me a few times.
oh that is so cute that you took some shots with him snoozing.. i never knew they closed their eyes.. too cute.
