shiner/minnow id?

Caught some type of large minnow/shiner this weekend while fishing with the kids, can't find it on any of the things that Florida F&G posts for fish ID... anyone have any links to good sites with pics for id help?

No pics, was about 4" long, smoooth scales (not like a bluegill) but didn't flake scales like a golden shiner. Had a green/blue tint to it.

If you think its a native try NANFA.org and look in the gallery or under the minnows section , Florida fish and wildlife service and Tennessee's conservation dept also have pictures and descriptions of fish as does the online lfs Jonahs.
