This thread is not purposed for debate. It is to bring awareness to a memorial.
It is to provide means of expression and tribute. Be those emotions and thoughts good or bad, painful or exhilarating.
It is acknowledged there are many peoples of the world. Those voices do not always agree. All minds are permitted their own belief.
All are welcome to post their thoughts. Whether they be of concord or dissent.
No one person, nor one voice is valued higher than another. That is the price of mutual respect.
Facts can be argued in their place. This is not that place.
There is room for fact, feeling and belief. Those are invited. But no room for argument.
It is hoped that by recognizing the existence and significance of opposition in our free society, conflict will not need to prove itself here.
Rather than erase all evidence of disagreement, thereby provoking it.
This thread is not purposed to argue the validity of a memorial. For that cenotaph has already been carved.
This thread is to gather and share our thoughts and feelings, as notations in a guest book.
But opposition is permitted to be voiced uncensored, if uninvited. That is the cornerstone of freedom.

-All usual posting guidelines and community standards apply, as always. And will be justly enforced by Moderators.
-All are welcome to post. Members and Mods. Of accord and discord.
