I just returned from the airport from picking up my shipment from Dan at Cichlids of the Americas. The fish were supposed to arrive yesterday evening but were delayed at their last stop and were due to arrive 5 hours later than estimated. So I went to the airport last night around 10PM central time to pick up the shipment and when I arrived, the guy at the cargo facility informed me that the fish didn't make their last flight due to an error made by the cargo facility at the previous stop... Frustrating to say the least... This error would cause the fish to be stuck in the box for literally double the time that they were supposed to. Despite this, i only recieved one fish DOA, but Dan threw in extra fish in the order which more than made up for the one dead fish. Overall, not bad considering the trouble with the shipping companies! I would assume shipping process was a little more difficult for me as i shipped internationally into Canada. My experience ordering from Dan has been great. Great communication and a really friendly guy.
