A little place called C At Hell
Hello all,

I just received notification that my fish arrived at my house, although I wont be able to be there for another hour. They were sent Over Night Delivery, and the shipper is reputable.

I know I might just be paranoid that my fish wont make it, but how long will they last in those bags?

it's not the bags you need to worry about. if the fish are in the sun there's a decent chance you can have fish soup when you get home.
I just had 22 fish shipped from florida priority mail in kordon breather bags with no problems. they went out monday and I got them wednesday.

I'm suprised your shipper sent them without requiring a signiture. I just received my first fish throught the mail. It was in the box for a little over 24 hrs. It arrived at a FedEx shipper near me at 10 am, I picked it up at 5 pm. I had it held for pick up because I wouldn't be home to sign for it.

The box sitting in the sun is a bit of a question mark. Hopefully you have a covered portch.

Those breather bags are great! I'm pretty sure they're the reason my paratilapia survived being lost in the mail for 3 days (so in a box for almost 4!) in the middle of winter.

If they're in a place that isn't too warm/cold I'm sure the fish'll be fine.

Thanks for the replies. The fish were fine, I live in Seattle so the sun isnt a problem most days.

The shipper did an amazing job packaging them.
