so i just got a fish shipped in and foolishly i didnt drip acclimate it. my ph is pretty high around 8.0-8.2. do you think my fish will survive? its a red hi fin wolf fish and it has been sitting on the bottom of tank for the last 3 hours. any suggestions on how i can help it survive the shock.

I would keep the lights off and limit activity around the tank. That way there will be less stress thrust upon it.
yea i floated it for about 15 minutes. but my wolf has been sitting on the sand for the last 5 hrs.
leave him alone.. give him as much space as you can. he'll either pull threw or not... is he breathing oddly? or just sitting? on a side note usually PH shock is actually TDS shock.. so if teh TDS levels wheren't too crazy different he may be just fine, just stressed from his long trip.
