Shipping Arowanas - 18" or so Blacks?

Well I am fairly certain I do want to add a black arowana to my setup. I have located a couple 18" or so ones but either I go with would require shipping. The sellers are confident shipping and will guarentee live arrival.

Bigger question, how do arowanas of this size handle shipping? Obviously local pickup is preferred but as a general rule Michigan (esp the west side where I am) do not deal with higher end fish.

If done right there should be no problem. Just one more vendor that I saw had a larger black. www.americancichlids.net I have dealt with them many a time and they are good people.

Shipping a fish that size won't be cheap, but as brian mention if done correctly you wont have any problems.
