was reading several articles on discus, they all seem to recommend buying from breeders rather than local shops, however I do not know of any local breeders in my area, not even within my copuntry (Mexico). Anyone out there know of a breeder that produces particularly healthy fish? I might have to end up flying the fish in, so important to get healthy stock to begin with. The closer to the border, the better.

check your local importation laws, I think it will cost you more than it is worth. go to simplydiscus.com for reputable dealers & you may find someone in texas. or contact those you find directly to see their policy of shipping int'l/to mexico.

but you may be better to deal with a local LFS dealer to import. good luck!
