I had planned on shipping fish via greyhound but when I called them they told me they don't ship live animals. Does anybody go around this. What should I tell them is in the bag.

I wouldn't ship fish on greyhound. Can get pretty hot 140 degrees in the bottom of that bus in summer. Thats why most of the time they wont ship aerosols either. Depending on how far its going it might be ok but why risk it.

i wouldent ship greyhound. have you ever had to take one on a trip?? however long the trip would normally take by a car, you can double, triple, and sometimes quadruple that time on the busses due to all the pickups, stopovers, breaks, driver changes and what not that have to be made.

not to mention sometimes you could have to switch 2 or 3 different busses to get to the final destination, and i seriously dont want some uncaring bus driver moving my box at 4am. gentle is NOT in their vocabulary, trust me.

i rode these busses when younger on several trips, and hated putting clothes underneath, nevermind live animals

I shipped a small crate of books via greyhound about 15 years ago and they broke the wooden crate causing damage to quite a few books...

I wouldn't trust them with fish...

That's not to mention the concern about uncontrolled temperatures beneath the bus....
