Shipping larger fish....

I will potentially be recieving 2 pacu, both around 18 inches. Is there a chance that they wouldn't make it? How much would shipping them cost?

shipping such a large fish is risky. and costs will be through the roof. the only way that I would transport something like a pacu would be to find one locally and getting a big rubbermaid tub. shipping via AP to AP would just cost way more then it's worth. and therefore it wouldn't be worth it.

that's the worsth thing about fish that grow Round instead of long b/c then you not only need a long box but a tall one. and that means more water and more water equals more weight and more weight means more shipping cost.
