I recently purchased a large spawning pair of festae from a member in WA. They were shipped Monday afternoon and scheduled for a early AM delivery today. Because of ups problems the fish are delayed until tomorrow...The fish will be spending the night in KY and in transit to NY...
DO the fish have any chance of survival???

I had a similar problem with my Festae shipment. I ordered six juvies from chicago using over night shipping to Florida. My package was lost! It came a day later and all six Festae were fine. I think your pair will be ok.

They should still have some warmth from the heat packs if they were packed with any and they should be fine if you get them tomorrow.I went through this same BS with UPS last month and they completely lost the wolf fish that I was sending to another member...and he was just one state away.

It's hard to say, but let the seller know what's going on. That way if they do show up DOA he can then send replacements.........

the seller is on the site and he has been great. he is a personal seller so does not have another pair..I myself have been looking for a proven pair for the last year. UPS is giving the shipping money back to seller who will in return be sending it to me. I hope they make it

Thats what they did in my situation as well.Let us know how this ends up.

I purchased dime sized angelfish 2 weeks ago and they were also from KY to NY. Shipped priority and all were fine :D

Hope your festaes survive

If he did a good job packing, theyll be fine.
USPS lost a shipment I sent out once for 8 days and all 6 plecos made it fine.
