Shipping pythons in the us

A while back i remembered hearing pythons and boas can not be taken out of state or shipped as pets in the us.

I was hoping to order a ball python online. Is this illegal now too? What about the shipment of other reptiles?

You cannot transport them over state lines i think.

Yea i think it might be okay because its within your state, but you should double check :)

No, that's not correct.

The species that are illegal to transport across state lines include Burmese pythons, African rock pythons, and yellow anacondas. You can't legally have one of these shipped to you unless its from within your state.

It's 100% legal to order a ball python from one state & have it shipped to another; the same goes for pretty much any other reptile unless your state has regulations regarding that reptile.
 
Yes they are but u still may wanna double check on that.
