Would a 5" Crenicichla Johanna be fine w/ 2-day shipping? My g/f wants to order one and the 2-day is like $20 something cheaper....

I wouldn't risk it. Just pay that extra $20 and get the fish there knowing it will be alright, plus garuanteed live arrival. 
Thanks, Peanut. I've never had a pike before though. Do they get big quick and what size tank should I have?

Also, keep in mind the fish you will be getting is a juv. so the coloration it has now is not the coloration it is going to have as an adult. Luckily johanna are pretty freaking attractive pikes as adults, so you are in for a treat. Nothing is cooler than watching your pike go through its 'transformation' to adult coloration!
Thanks yet again. Right now I have a 75, but I'm trying to talk my friend into giving me his 150 he isn't using... Should I just have one by itself?
if u can get a pair its worth having... used to love my two johannas til an unfortunate accident... also if your planning on adding any other fish... i suggest doing it asap because it gets more difficult to add fish as your pike get larger.
