Thanks, Peanut. I've never had a pike before though. Do they get big quick and what size tank should I have?

:nilly::ROFL: Expect a BIG fish in six to eight months, possibly sooner. By big I mean 12 to 14" easily. ;)

Minimum tanks size would be a 75gal....but always try to go larger if possible. ;)

Also, keep in mind the fish you will be getting is a juv. so the coloration it has now is not the coloration it is going to have as an adult. Luckily johanna are pretty freaking attractive pikes as adults, so you are in for a treat. Nothing is cooler than watching your pike go through its 'transformation' to adult coloration! :)

if u can get a pair its worth having... used to love my two johannas til an unfortunate accident... also if your planning on adding any other fish... i suggest doing it asap because it gets more difficult to add fish as your pike get larger.
