Hi Dan, I'm new, love your stock.

Im interested in the Gulper Cats but they are quite expensive. I see in one of your other threads that you can deliver to Northern Ireland, I live further south but could easily arrange pickup. My question is what sort of guarantee do you give with the fish. If I pay £200+ to get the fish over and it
a. Arrives dead
b. Dies within days
what happens then?
I want to do business with you but I need these questions answered first, could you PM me please. I tried to PM you but for some reason couldnt, I think its cause I just joined but hopefully I will be able to get yours.

pretty sure he has some kind of live arrival type thing. make sure your waters prestine, n your actually ready for the cat, n everything should be fine.

Cheers Ethnics, yeah I figured he'd have something like that but I just want to be sure before I part with my hard earned money.
Waters perfect, I've had a tank set up and cycled for months just been waiting to find something special to put in it.

awesome. sounds like your ready to spend that pretty penny. i kno it sounds harsh but be prepared for anything. even the worse. you may get it n everythigns ok for the first 3 weeks then poof, u never know. it happens in fish keeping and most of us have accepted this. ive lost hundreds on picky oddballs but its a price im willing to pay to keep certain fish.

Hi Dave
All fish will have been in stock for minimum of 2weeks before being offered for sale. This way I know they are of great health and feeding well etc.
The writen guarantee period is "Live on arrival" but obviously if you imform me straight away that its alive but maybe looking worse for ware, then I can work with you to A: try to save it, and B: extend the guarantee.
The main problem here is because I am relying on you A:Having good quality water B:Floating and aclimatising them correctly c:Buying fish that are suitable for the tank they are going in, for example if you buy a fish that is bit timid and goes into a tank with fish that bully it, the stress could kill it and that obviously not caused by the quality of fish Ive sent and is also way out of my control.
So when people order that Ive not delt with before, i try to find out what they have, what knowledge they have and stuff like this.
Im sure if you speak to most (hopefully all) the people Ive supplied on this (and other forums) they will tell you the quality and service is of very high quality.
Hope this clears up a few points.

Bobcat, Spend the pennies mate and buy the Gulper, there is one left. It has been in since before christmas so well aclimatised and eating. Bought mine off Dan and it is awesome like a Pangasius on steroids with a mouth like Jade Goody.
All my fish off Dan have been A1+ including a tigrinus and trachy. He wont sell them until he is happy that they are eating and settled in. Wish he would just sell WCMM or danios for a while as Im running out of space!
