Ok I have a few questions about shipping a tank and some accessorys.
I'm shipping a friend of mine a 5 and a half gallon tank along with the filter, lid and strip light for it. My questions is how exactly would you ship something like this? Should I send it overnight delivery or would regular shipping be ok? I was also going to send her a java fern. My java fern in my 10 gallon tank is multiplying and has a ton of babies on it. I'm hoping that they will fall off on their own by the time I ship the tank to her. Should I attach the java fern to something before I ship it? I have a small java fern that has attached itself to some peices of gravel. I was planning to take the tank to the UPS store and have them package it. I just wanna make sure the tank get's there safely and all in one piece. Any advice will be appreciated. I'm probably not going to be shipping this until the begining of September.
