Shocking : On China's Yellow River, corpses mean cash

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
:shakehead. That is a shame that so many people are killed or are victims in the river. The numbers are so large, people are able to completely create a business. Police should be required to patrol the edges of the river to catch those killing or harming people and tossing them in the river.

its sad :(

sad that there are that many people being in the river, and sad that thats how he can make money.
at the end of the day if he can provide his family with clothes and food then....idk, not saying its right buuuuuuuuut needs must.

does that make sense?

That's what a real monster would say and/or think :WHOA:

The guy in that picture looks pretty morbid himself but I don't think too many people would be able to drag the bloated bodies of their relatives from out of that water.

Ppl do what they gotta do in poorer countries. Ive been to many of them wether it's a man with a stick "guarding" your car without being asked or someone pulling out dead bodies. Truth is the families would have never gotten back the bodies, this man is providing a service why shouldn't he be payed? We can't accurately judge what we do not live through......unfortunately that is one reason few ppl like america we tend to stick our collective noses in everyone elses business and say "well that's not right".

Its amazing to me how death is almost ignored by the authorities is such an overpopulated country. Its almost like a ''good riddance'' kind of attitude.

honestly its gross... but no one is paying them to pull the bodies out... they have to make money some how and that's the way they do it. If no one else will pull the bodies out, someones going to do it and I wouldn't do it without getting some sort of compensation. At the end of the day he choose to run a business of collecting them. If he didn't do it then many of these families wouldn't even know what happened to their loved ones at all, they would be left wondering. I understand the point of view and it is what it is.

As for the bodies being there in the first place... it almost feels like you are reading something that happened in a movie. It sad that "women" just disappear and are murdered. Its sad that they are murdered or committing suicide for arguing with a boss b/c the boss wont even pay them or the economical issues... its just sad all around that its happening in the first place. It's even more sad that law enforcement doesn't seem to care to do anything about it and may even be behind some of the murders in the first place.
