can any one recommend shoplite fixtures for a 150 tank 72 x 24 x 20 with good coloring index to highlite the Blue color of fish like blue guppies, platies, powder blue gouramis etc

I use a T5 shoplight that I bought from Home Depot. The bulb used is a 10,000k 32w made by Current USA.

'I use the same band only t8 lamps. 6400k but they have many different colors. I only went with t8's over t5's because I was not going to plant anything so I didn't need the high output so I could save money on lamps. depending on how bright you need it a single bulb or quad bulb fixture would work nice.

I have had both a dual lamp 4ft 40watt t8's, and the fixture of my old 55 gallon. personally for me the two two single lamp t8 17 watts each was more then enough to light my 220 when suspended 2 feet above tank.

I don't have any night time pics with the lights on but both setups where ample light to see the fish shine from across the room. I loved sitting the and catch the random flash of light when my bala's passed just right across the light.

I like the color of both but the two small lights from the 55 had a more blue color. However recently I have replaced a fixture temporarily with a 10k light and I am pretty sure I want all my lamps this color now.
