Shopping for Fish Tank and Cabinet

Hi All,

I'm in the market for a 125G All Glass tank with a pine wood cabinet. I'm in NY metropolitan area and wondering if there is any good deals on new fish tank and stand.

So far Petland Discount has the best deal which will cost me $700 plus tax for a brand new set of 125G tank plus wood cabinet.

Petsmart just had a black friday deal. $300 for a new 125 and stand. Dont think youll beat that. If you think about it $700 as long as your happy with it and expect to enjoy it for years to come may not be that bad.. Could always go used for a fraction of the price, but thats a tossup on quality.. good luck. Check Craigslist in your local area.

$300 for a new 125 gallon tank with a solid wood cabinet?

I'm hesitant to buy an used tank especially it is a 125 gallon. A leaked 125 will be huge problem let alone the scratches. I will keep an eye on craigslist.

Petland Discount can deliver the set to my living room for extra $25 and that is a great deal. Other LFS charge $150 for delivery.
