The LFS finally got in some bichirs. Not what they ordered or what I was after... but they offered me a deal on some short bodied albinos. How large do they actually get? I like the freak factor, but I'm setting up my 100 this weekend and don't want them to wind up food for the others. They are probably 2" (barely) right now. Nice and fat however. Anything I should double check for on the SB's? Are their any LF SB's? Just curious. I kinda feel like I'm obligated to get one, b/c I have hounded these guys weekly to get in some bichirs.

They said they paid $20, and want $25 for them. Said it's b/c they won't be able to sell them (they said they ordered normal albinos and got these)
Will, I plan on picking it up tomorrow. I just went down on my lunch break today to check them out.
Setup a growout tank so you don't loose a bichir to any of the others. 1 Question? what size are the other bichirs. Would wait till the short bodies are around 5" or build or buy and divider and grow him out that way.

Right now the others ar 5-6". I am outta tank space at the moment, when I get the 100 setup this weekend I will have my quarantine tank free for a bit. But I may have to segregate one of my cichlids out due to aggression.
