Short Bodied Bala Sharks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I like them.

I was reading up on bala sharks not long ago and the description went something like this....bala sharks, although not a shark at all, get their name from their long slender and torpedo like form.

Haha. They're not bala sharks, they're bala stumps!!!!

Me too!!!

Normal ones look better, but at least one exists that can go in a Slightly smaller tank than usual.
I really wish there was a variant that stayed around 6 inches but looked the same.

So I'm breeding some platinum HRPs
I'm on my F1 generation, next one should be good but whoever tries to breed fry from those is probably gonna get some short bodies, bent fins or kinked spines. I feel bad, but I guess it can't be helped. Its amazing how fast short bodies show up with inbreeding fish, I guess we just get them at the point where they've been line bred by suppliers long enough that we're getting the genetic spoils.
