Hi,
I just purchased a 3.5" short bodied flowerhorn on aquabid and he will be here next week. He is going in a 75 gallon tank that already has 8 X 3.5"congo tetras in it and a 5" green phantom pleco. Do I have to get rid of these fish or will they be ok since the Congos are pretty fast and the pleco has a cave?

Thank You-
Russ

I"d imagine so, but Its still good to have a backup plan as with any cichlid. My flowerhorn can't even catch little platys, but this is partly because she, as many later zz's do (I hear), has a fairly weak tail. A FH"s strategy is to be thick and tough, as opposed to tetras that are fast. I'd try it, but keep an eye on the congo's little tail-extensions : )
