I put a 2" short bodied flowerhorn in a 65gl with mbunas, a jewel, a red tailed black shark and some tiger barbs. Most of the fish are around 3".
They seems to be going along fine, except for a tiger barb that died which I felt was due to RTBS harassment.
Greatly appreciate further advice on how this will work out going forward. TQ

Should be fine for a bit, but the flowerhorn will likely go full dovii when it gets some size to it.

Anyone knows how to maintain plants in a flowerhorn tank? Have not been successful so far

Might be able to get away with tough stuff like Anubias or Javas, but it’s a crap shoot. Just a lot of trying things until something works.

Dunno about that.. I already had some beautiful Water Hyacinth and Water Lettuce reduced to nothing.
