Short Body Blue Eyed (Cochliodon)

Hey pleco keepers hope everyone doing good and staying safe. Has anyone seen or heard of a short body Blue eyed cochliodon? I got this unique 9.5” SBBEC from Jason’s plecos an cichlids.

That’s the first one I’ve ever heard of, looks like it’s in constant pain.

This was wild caught in/near Honda, Colombia where the original BEC is thought to have come from and then disappeared until now.

Swims and act normal like my normal BEC.

tail, dorsal, body and fins are all straight like wild no kinks like most captive bred plecos.

I love this this! Hands down the dumbest (in a good way) and likely rarest pleco anyone's got. Congrats on such and awesome fish.
Can't express how much I hate engineered fish but the fact that this is wild just blows my mind. Never seen anything like it and doubt I will...

Agree, I been keeping fish since the early 90’s until now and I never seen a SB blue eyed. Most SB fish are mostly man made but when the seller and exporter can confirm it wild caught makes it more special. It literally looks like a bobble head.
