A while back my LFS got a delivery of 3" clown loaches that practically all had the physical characteristics of the "perfect" clown loaches IMO. A larger head, short snout, high sloping head into a taller build, shorter body. I picked up 4-5 of them, some were even oddball patterned, about $5.50 each. They may not be SB, though genetically produced ones sometimes look freakish! Either way...

From the pic I'd say it's not a short body as although it is indeed tall and compact, it looks proportionally correct and not buckled up or distorted as so many shortbodies do.
Just looks like a very healthy and VERY well fed clown to me.gorgeous
