Jellybean Parrot is the name for 3 different fish sold under the same name.

1. Dyed Blood Parrots.
2. Dyed or undyed short body Pink Convicts. These are the most commonly sold as Jellybean or Bubblegum Parrots and are not hybrids despite the common misconception.
3. Dyed Pink Convicts.

People often mistake Convict x Parrot as the Shortbody Pink Convicts but they are not the same fish and are not sold at stores unless brought in by a hobbyist. I personally don't like using the name Jellybean because it can cause confusion. So to answer your question they are both Short Body Pink Convicts even if they are called Jellybean and they are NOT hybrids. So both fish are the same strain of Pink Convict.

Thank you so much. Makes sense. I ask because they just bred and i was like wondering what the outcome was going to be.

With mild agresive fish like angels.... they are much smaller than regular convicts so do not mix them they can't hold theyr own
