ive had my sb flowerhorn for about 5-6 months now she was about 2 in when i got her and now is about 3in. My question is do short bodys just grow very slow or is mine about full grown at 3 in. I feed Hikari Gold pellets 2 times a day and no food once a week. thanks in advance for any info.

Well, they aren't called Shortbodies for nothing.They won't be as long/large as the regular sized ones so of course they will grow slower. It will be bigger than 3 inches. Lots of factors can determine how fast your fish will grow though. Whats the size of the tank that it lives in?
I didn't have my sb female for 6 months but it was something around that time, got here at about 1.5" and when I get rid of her she was about 3", females grow slow especially if they are breeding.
i dont think shes breeding shes by herself and i havent seen any eggs but idunno ive never bread any fish before
