Saw this guy while at Petsmart in the Midas tank and decided to pick him up for some reason.

Doesn't look like a classic "short body" though it appears to have a spinal defect. Should have been culled in my opinion.

Yes I noticed that after I got it home after examined it further. If the store wasn't a half an hour drive I would just take it back. I might take it back on Monday but I am not sure yet.

Just checked in on him an he was stuck to the filter. So I am taking him back but in popsicle form. Kinda sucks because I was thinking of keeping him.

Thats the problem. They don't sell anything that lives. They just sell things that die.
