Short body Salvini

From the pic I think I see a black spot on the dorsal and the red belly.

Block spot on the dorsal. Looks like a deformed salvini. If you like it, get it. Anyone breeding salvini would likely cull it due to the deformities.
It does look more short bodied than deformed. Could be either.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and so is a deformity. ;D Electric blue in EBJDs, albinism, short bodies, the blood parrot's mouth... they're all deformities (in a way, as they cause various issues for the fish) but the side effects of said deformity is attractive to some and hence is sought after. 
What one may like, another doesn't, best do what you want. ;D

I think I'm gonna pick her up today. Once I do, I'll put her in a small tank and give you all a good picture so you call can form an opinion on whether she's short bodied or just deformed.
To be honest, I expect her to get eaten in my tank though.

Seems like a good price for her, how large is she? Definitely a female: Red belly is a clue, but the dead giveaway is the black in the center of the dorsal fin.
Sold one up in my area for $25 at about 4.5" length, so it does seem a really good price to me. Very neat, smaller CAcichlid
