short tail opossum

i propably get a small male short tail opossum. Anyone here who has such little critters and can tell me how they are?

They are quite strictly nocturnal and don't get really tame, but besides that, they are fun. Feed it a lot of insects, worms and fruit and he'll be happy. If you get offered a pair be careful, because sometimes you have to keep them in separate enclosures.

i get a single male. That little fellow was born this april and i´m pretty excited about him. My first marsupial ha ha

Thats his mom. The one i get is one of the babies you see.

Do they smell bad or no?

They are very clean animals. They even have a toilet area in their enclosure which they use. All reports i did read say they have no smell at all.
