Shortage of Quality cichlids in Georgia!

Unfortunately for me I left Louisiana and moved to Atlanta, Ga. where there is no LFS that sale Quality Cichlids and I'm getting quite frustrated because I'm from New Orleans and we have LFS around every corner it seems that has good stuff. I met this guy who told me to check out this LFS called Fish Farm and I called and asked did they have any Red Terrors and the lady said yeah, so I got real excited because I'm thinking I've finally found me a new spot but when I got there they were Mayans and I was very disappointed. The tanks were filthy the fish looked very unhealthy and the Woman working in the store didn't have any knowledge about fish so I'm still searching! :confused:

Yeah I live in atl to and ordered my fish! I don't know if you're anywhere near the perimeter mall but there's a pet store near there that's decent
 
Yeah I thought they had a decent selection. Still ordered my fish though lol... Have you been there before
 
Not what I want to hear. I'm moving northwest of Atlanta in a few years. I'm actually hoping to haul all of my fish from Kansas down with me. I was actually going to check out the fish stores when I'm down visiting the in laws one of these times.
 
Ken runs his own pet store now (Petland in Athens, I think)...is active along with Peter (penthster sp?) and probably a couple of hundred hobbyists in the fish club...and Ken still goes collecting several times per year.

Get involved in the fish club and you'll wonder why you ever relied on stores for your stock...
