I got this little guy a little over a week ago. Since I got him, I've noticed a decent amount of kok growth for his size. His kok hasn't quite popped out huge yet, but it's getting nice and fat. He's a little under 2" right now, and still hard to take pictures of. I'm thinking of breeding him with my Carpinte x BP female when they both get a bit bigger. Would bringing the BP blood into the mix classify the fry as kamfa? Anyway, here he is on 10-20-08, sorry for the flash pics, he won't sit still!

And here's one without flash, though you can't see all his pearls in this pic. I guess I'll just have to wait till he's bigger to get a decent pic without the flash.
In the week I've had him, I've been feeding him a big variety of frozen bloodworms, beefheart, mysis shrimp, Chingmix Maxima sp80, a little Chingmix Headbooster sp50 (this brings out red and kok on my fish a little, but makes the body color drab and makes pearls disappear, so I use it sparingly), Hikari Bio-Gold, and Super Soft spirulina pellets (great for pearls). Yesterday I got some Grand Sumo Red and started feeding it to him, hopefully I'll see a pretty decent change in the next few weeks.
