so ive found one great deal on cl just now, only catch is that the stand is much to big for my taste and won't really fit well in the living room. so rather than build a stand, has anyone ever tried shortening a stand? do i run any kind of risk my removing the bottom piece of wood cutting down the support beams and reattatching them once again? any advice would be great, thx.
