shortest pvc glue drying time?

umm hold i fer 30 rock hard in 5mins and 24 hours till its non toxic
i did te same and i just had another pump returnign for 2 dayz
 
Depends if you need it to hold under pressure or just need it to act as an overflow. Why dont you make it all bar one joint a few days before if your worried? PVC as an overflow will generally work even without glue so a few minutes until you cant move it yourself will do. You can also use a heat gun to dry it faster since there is a solvent which needs to vapourise before the glue sets properly.
 
With pools a few minutes is all you need before you start the system back up, and these pools are pushing 2/3hp motors.

Good answer!!! :headbang2 I have turned on pool systems about thirty seconds after putting the parts together with them holding. That is about the threashold. In that same timeframe, I have also blown the parts apart.

The solvents are hydrophilic, meaning they are highly attracted to water. Their diffusion into water is almost instantaniously.

After the parts have set for about a minute, blow the fumes out that have collected in the assembly. Then just submerge it in water for several minutes, or cap one end and fill it with water.
