Between a Rock and a Hard Place...
Can someone here point me in the direction of some shortnose gar?

I have access to Spotty's here in Bama and already have some florida gar...looking at getting 3/7/0....
I dont have the cash to spend on a trop right now or the space for a gator/cuban/longnose...

help?

I know Joe but its going to be months until i can manage that trip unfortunately...I graduate in late July. Does anyone out there know how much I despise CA? It sucks here....
you leave a sandwich out on the counter and it gets hard in like 10minutes! GAH! On the bright side Ill be performing surgery in t-minus 2 weeks at my new internship...but yah...I cant make the dang drive until im out of here...so maybe then joe

No a WTB add. We often discuss who has what gar atm. Finding out what vendor/site/seller has mass amount of gar. A few for pick up isnt what I mean ;)

Good luck with your hunt... I'd love sn to ever have been available in the EU in the last 5yrs... :nilly:

I wasn't trying to tell anybody how to post properly or how to do anything at all for that matter. I was just trying to help out any other members who may be looking for Shortnose Gar in case the OP wasn't the only person interested in obtaining this species. From my experience here at MFK, it seems as though many times when members refer to fish they personally have available or for sale, not in the Marketplace, it may be frowned upon.

the red bit is what made me laugh... this is not the place to advertise fish for sale... but that said, in response to the OP the rest of that message and even a link to yours aor any existing add already in market place is perfectly acceptable... ;)

difference between something someone cant find, and something thats ten two the dozen as well...

I PMed the OP about having Shortnose Gar available-not about his post being in the wrong place (I didn't think it was). I was only concerned about my reply to his post possibly being in the wrong place. Not sure why I am even wasting my time trying to defend myself-simple misunderstanding :) Somebody please bring something interesting/exciting to the Gar forums ASAP :)
