Shortnose gars arrived today...

But they all died in transit There was an issue with the container he shipped them in, and all the water drained out.

He is shipping me some more tomorrow morning, to arrive Friday, in different packaging, so hopefully those will show up in better condition.

hmmm, thats a little unnerving since i getting some from him.

Yah, the buckets they came in didn't leak when he rolled them on their sides, or set them upside down, but I think with the jostling they get during shipping, it popped the lid partly open.

He said he went to the fish store and picked up actual fish bags, and he'll be double bagging them, then putting them inside a Tupperware container. Hopefully that will prevent the same thing from happening again.

They were good looking little gars, other than being dead

Me too. My stomach felt like a ball of lead when my gf called and told me they'd arrived, but were dead. I just finished burying them in the back yard.

Sorry, my stomach felt sick when I got the call this morning too. I thought my tubs would work great. Here is how they went out today. A bad rep is the last thing I want. Have no worries, any problems will be addressed ASAP. (The replacements went out free of charge)
