Well. It has been moved to its own 75gal for the time being. It started getting aggressive with my much larger Achara catfish. Since I was moving it I took the time to measure it(sorry no pics). It measures out to my surprise at 12" on the nuts. It must have been the streamers and glass that made the fish show 15" before as I never set it on a tape until now.
It is over a year in my possession now. No shortage of food or space for it. I am kinda confused. It has been said to be a yarrelli after a few stops on others along the way. The lack of size length wise has me confused as I figured it would be larger by now. It's mouth is about 2" wide and about 4" with the peck fins.
Is this slow growth/holding point at 12" common? I have not seen much, honestly have not looked that hard though.
