Today I added some river rock to my 210 g native tank, which currently has 2 3 inch channel cats at 3 2 inch perch. I think the river rock makes my tank look much better, but how can I improve it more? I am against fake plants and real plants for this tank because I want to make this tank resemble local lakes as closely as possible. I am still planning on adding some large boulders to the tank as well. And btw, I will be removing some of the sand bed. It is currently 3 inches deep:WHOA: It was only 1 1/2-2 inches before I added the river rock... Excuse the cloudy water, it's cloudy because of the river rock, even though I washed it...

Some nice pieces of driftwood will look good in there.

Working on that. I will probably go collecting this weekend at my favorite creek...

Yeah I would say some nice big pieces of drift wood and some bigger rocks. There are some real nice tanks around this website, I would suggest roaming around and getting some ideas and then changing them to fit your style. So far is working for me.

You can do one of two things 1. add more driftwood or 2. give the tank to me and let me worry about it:ROFL: Just kidding but yeah just some pieces of driftwood would pull the tank together. Keep us updated on that tank

I agree with everyone else so far, some more driftwood would make it look alot better

remove antlers lol. put in some driftwood, plants, switch stones from white to a darker color aaaaand how about some fish!

Yeah. Not too crazy about the white river rocks either. He does have fish in there, everyone.
